    Default H.264 - H.264 transcoding

    Hello,

    I wonder if anyone ever tried something like this and what would be the result. I would try H264 - H264 transcoding, being given the following characteristics of the input and output streams:

    Input:
    - Profile: High profile, Level 4.1
    - Entropy coding: CABAC
    - Color sampling: 422
    - Bit depth: 8
    - Video bitrate: 40 mbps
    - Audio: MPEG I, Layer 2, 384 kbps

    Output:
    - 3 x H.264 video streams (720, 480, 240) - main and base profile
    - AAC / HE-AAC audio (maximum 96 kbps)


    Thank you for opinions or any useful information.

    Yes, this is supported. Each encode block has a Profile setting, so you can have some encodes that are Main and others that are Baseline.
