    Default let users download videos

    Hi,

I am storing videos in content folder and I want my users to download those videos, please note that I don't want streaming of videos only download of videos.

But my problem is that how do I access these videos for download, I mean what will be the path for these videos, for example my ip address is 204.35.123.33, should I access them like this : 204.35.123.33/content/videos , but this is not working, so please guide me what I have to do for this.

Also how much content can I store in this content folder, I have hard-disk of 500 GB.

There is not a way to do this with Wowza. You can install a web or ftp server and map Wowza content folder to web or ftp location

    1) Use Apache install on port 80 or else
    2) Map /videos to your wowza content folder

    or

    1) Use Apache with PHP
    2) PHP read the file based on filename eg http://<servername>/file.php?f=sample.mp4
    3) read the file and and force content download header
