Thread: H.264 flash works but H.264 MP4 doesn't

    Default H.264 flash works but H.264 MP4 doesn't

An H.264 stream encoded with the adobe flash encoder 3.2 published through the default live config works perfect on my iPhone but a stream encoded on a Viewcast Niagara 2120 with identical audio-video settings but encoded as an MP4/AAC results in a very choppy stream on the iPhone. Why? How do I get the 2120 to work with wowza ?

    Default

Take a look at the key frame frequency and cupertinoChunkDurationTarget. Refer to this guide:
    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....tinostreaming)

FMLE default is 5 seconds, which works well with the default of 10000 (10 seconds) for cupertinoChunkDurationTarget.

If there is not a specific setting for key frame frequency, it is GOP / FPS = key frame frequency

    Default

Its working now ... GOP set to 30 and FPS set to 30 ... didn't need to include the Chunk attributes.
