Default Address to use for FMP

I have watched the tutorials on setting up a live feed with wowza and wirecast, then tried to embed it in our site using FMP on osfm.org. I embedded it but nothing shows up on the actual site. On another forum I read it said that I can't use 127.0.0.1 to broadcast to the internet. What address do I use for the video source??? Sorry if this is a stupid question

Try following the written Wirecast tutorial. This information is there. Also, you'll benefit by spending some time reading through the Quick Start Guide, and the Wowza User Guide.

I read through the suggested material several times in trying to set this up, wondering if anyone can actually help me to get this working. I would be much appreciated.

You need to use the server's public IP address. 127.0.0.1 is loopback, local address.

For Flash HTTP (sanjose) follow the directions in 2nd half of this guide:

So I entered the IP address (which) I had tired before and it keeps giving me the error Cannot connect to the given server at this address. Why would this be?
