Thread: Performance question from tutorial

  1. #1

    Default Performance question from tutorial

    In the tutorial it says to change wrapper.java.additional.1=-Xmx3000M in the file WowzaMediaServer-Service.conf. But when I go to that file I see the following entry:

    "#[do not use - see wrapper.java.additional.1 property] wrapper.java.maxmemory=768"

    should I edit this with the information from the tutorial discussion:
    "wrapper.java.additional.1=-Xmx3000M"

    If so do I add this to the end of the file?

    TIA

    Hi
    You can edit :
    wrapper.java.additional.1=-Xmx768M
    to :
    wrapper.java.additional.1=-Xmx3000M

    The lines
    "#[do not use - see wrapper.java.additional.1 property]
    wrapper.java.maxmemory=768"

    Are telling you that you set the memory in "wrapper.java.additional.1" not "wrapper.java.maxmemory".
    admittedly its not crystal clear but if you set wrapper.java.additional.1 as shown above it will be correct.
