    Default Static variables in different applications

    Hello. Two applications run on server simultaneously(video chat and http provider). Both applications have a class MyClass.
    This class has a static variable myVar. I need to static variables do not overlap in different applications.

    I haven't has need to do this in a Wowza application, but for general Java programming, you can load the class using separate ClassLoaders (different ones for each of your applications), which will separate the namespaces. Should work fine in wowza

    Why can't you just rename the var?

    Or maybe use "private static" vars.
