    Default Create event and RTMP

    Hi,

I noticed that for RTMP, the create message doesn't contain the stream name. It only happens with RTMP.
Is it possible to include the stream name in the URL for RTMP create events?

    create 2012-09-28 06:28:54 11.11.11.11 207861257 test rtmp://dns_1/test
    play 2012-09-28 06:28:54 11.11.11.11 207861257 test rtmp://dns_1/test/sample.mp4

    Regards, Flavio

    Hi
With RTMP you have the play method but the others (HTTP, RTSP) don't have the play method they just create which is why the create method doesn't give the stream name. (because play does)

    Jason,

Actually I would like to have this information in the Create method. Is there anyway to add it?

RTSP doesn't have Play method? I can see play methods for RTSP in my logs!

    Thank you, Flavio

    Hi
When using RTMP that method hasn't specified a stream name yet so you can't see what it is.

The create event is too soon for stream name. This corresponds to onStreamCreate.
