  1. Default Hardware Performance Tuning

    I have gone through the Performance Tuning article ( http://www.wowza.com/forums/content.php?46 ) and I am having doubt in the 11th point

    I am having following resources

    CPU : 12 x 2 cpu cores
    RAM : 126 GB RAM,
    Network : 10Gbps dedicated port
    OS : Linux ( Centos 6.3 ) - 64 bit

    Java : java version "1.6.0_24"
    OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.11.4) (rhel-1.49.1.11.4.el6_3-x86_64)
    OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.0-b12, mixed mode)

    I have tuned Java Heap Size upto 8GB

    I dont know how to tune it in VHost.xml for getting the more performance. Please help me

    The tuning guide is very specific about what to do in VHost.xml depending on your server's number of cores.
