Question connectioncounts - and more data

    Hi,

The XML at /connectioncounts is great, but I'm wondering if there's a way to query for even more realtime information - for example, which IP addresses are connecting, or even the total bitrate per stream (as opposed to per app or instance).

    Thanks!

You can get all or most of that from serverinfo
    http://[wowza-address]:8086/serverinfo
There is source for connectioncounts and serverinfo

    connectioncounts:

    serverinfo:

Hi Richard, I suppose the issue here is can we get and how the active connections' IP addresses? And is there a way to setup a log with these?

    Thank you!

The serverinfo HTTPProvider does include IP address of each currently connected client. The access log will have all the IP address of all clients.

I have the same issue with these XML pages as I do with the JMX console. No matter which admin interface I log into (one IP address, port 8086 for one and 8087 for the other), the XML displays applications for BOTH virtual hosts. Is there any way to separate them? (The passwords do seem to work properly. I cannot log into :8086 with :8087's credentials, and vice versa.)

    Rich,

You would have to re-build the source to only show per VHost.
