    Default Live streaming - Recording at startup

    Hello!

    I need an automatic live streaming recording only when the encoder begin to push the video to my wowza.

    Wowza is configured to use the "StartupStreams.xml":

    <StartupStream>
    <Application>live/_definst_</Application>
    <MediaCasterType>rtp</MediaCasterType>
    <StreamName>live.stream</StreamName>
    </StartupStream>

    Exist a solution to begin and stop the recording only when a video stream is present?

    Thks!

    Hello mount,

    In your /live/Application.xml set your StreamType to "live-record".

    THKS!!!!

    Now when the stream begin to be present in the wowza server, wowza begin the recording.

    Exist a way to eliminate all the info from 127.0.0.1 on the log? I have my log that is full with all these info until the real stream begin.

    INFO stream create 127.0.0.1

    INFO stream publish 127.0.0.1

    INFO stream listeners 127.0.0.1

    INFO stream unpublish 127.0.0.1

    INFO stream destroy 127.0.0.1

    Thks

    Take a look at the Logging chapter in the User Guide. You can use CategoryExclude and EventExclude
