    Default HTTP timeout issue

    Hi guys,

I got the strange performance that no matter how I changed the timeout (0, 15000, 1500000) from both "/conf/[app-name]/Application.xml/ApplicationTimeout" and "/conf/VHost.xml/ApplicationTimeout", the HTTP session was always destroyed after I paused the playback for roughly half minute; and then got the "stream destroy", "sanjose disconnect", and "application app-stop". I can't resume the playback anymore if the app-stop has been invoked.

But the rtmp pause/resume playback seems to be all right.

I've tested it on Wowza 2.1.2 and the latest Wowza 3 as well, and got the same results.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

Setting /conf/[app-name]/Application.xml /ApplicationTimeout to "0" should keep the app-stop from happening, be sure to restart Wowza after editing.

Alternately you could use this server listener:
