I'm new to Wowza, but am a web developer and pick things up quickly. We've successfully installed Wowza on a server and our networking team has opened all ports mentioned in the quick start guide. I'm using JW Player to embed the stream into our web pages using the following configuration:

'id': 'playerID',
'width': '480',
'height': '270',
'provider': 'rtmp',
'streamer': 'rtmp://[wowza install]:1935/vod',
'file': 'sample.mp4',
'modes': [
{ type: 'flash', src: '/vplayer/player.swf' },
{ type: 'html5', config:
'file': "http://[wowza install]:1935/vod/mp4:sample.mp4/playlist.m3u8",
provider: 'video'

This work great from on campus, inside our firewall, but when trying to access the file outside, the stream fails and gives us a Server Not Found: rtmpt://[wowza install]:80/vod error. What are we missing here? And why is it trying to stream on port 80 instead of port 1935?
