    Default Load handling EC2 Devpay

Hi, I have a wowza ec2 devpay instance. Which means I get charged based on the bandwidth out. Normally I will not expect more than 300 concurrent connections thats why I chose x.small instance. But there are some popular shows we have and the number of concurrent viewer can jump to 3000+ for couple of hours. Now, I do not mind paying for the bandwidth, is there any way my small instance can be automatically grow as the demand grows. I guess I am being lazy by not looking into EC2 documentation. But if there is a common practise, please do let me know. Or any other approach to address the sudden increase ?

You can smoothly loadbalance to another Wowza instance. Or you can use AWS auto-scaling.

We recommend the Wowza Live Stream Repeater and the Wowza Dynamic load balancer.
