    Default wowzaplaystart doesn't work for Flash HTTP

    Hello,
    I'm having trouble playing part of a file through Flash HTTP Streaming.
    I'm trying to play the file "sample.mp4" in WMS content folder. "vod" application configuration is default. The URL for OSMF player looks like this:
    http://localhost:1935/vod/mp4:sample.mp4/manifest.f4m?wowzaplaystart=60000&wowzaplayduration=120000
    This URL should play the part of this video from 1 minute till 3 minutes. However, that doesn't happen, nothing is played; "play" button goes from "play" to "pause" and back to "play" immediately. I tried WMS simple OSMF player and Strobe player; the latter showed correct duration of 2 minutes, but both played nothing.

    It only worked for me through HTTP Flash streaming when wowzaplaystart was set to a value from 0 to 3250 (figured by trial and error) - but it played form the beginning regardless of that value. The wowzaplayduration parameter seems to be working for any values. As for RTMP streaming, passing parameters to NetStream.play() works fine.

    We think the latest OSMF framework is not forwarding the querystring to Wowza. You will have to do this on the server

    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....HTTP-streaming

    public void onHTTPSessionCreate(IHTTPStreamerSession httpSession)
    {
    	httpSession.setPlayStart(30000);
    	httpSession.setPlayDuration(40000);
    }
