Default Remove DVR recorded content after 24 hours without stop/restart Wowza Service

    Hi everyone,

My Wowza Server is running DVR, streaming 10 channels. DVR record for playing back 24 hours.

Now I would like to remove recorded content after 24 hours without stop/restart Wowza Service.

I'm using cronjob, but if I does not stop Wowza Service before I remove the content, the time show on the player (flowplayer) goes wrong.

As I see in this topic:
    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....ck-Start-Guide

It says "File naming convention is the same as the directory naming with an additional millisecond value represented by mmm, HH_MM_SS_mmm. Do not delete or move any of these files or playback errors will occur."

Just wonder is there a way to remove old recorded content without having stop/restart Wowza Service.

    Thanks.

Try setting the Application.xml /DVR /WindowDuration ? It is set in seconds, so this is one hour:
    <WindowDuration>3600</WindowDuration>
