Default Cannot change Wowza port from 443 to 80

i was suggested to do this:
it might advisable to add port 80, and set your links to rtmp://<address>:80/<the rest of your URL> so allowing RTMPS to run directly over port 80
I Cannot change Wowza port from 443 to 80, 443
encounter error cannot bind to port 80, it already in use.

    Hi,

This suggests you have another application using port 80. In order for Wowza to use a port, say 80, no other application can be using it

If you are using RTMPS also look at the bottom of this article

    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....SL-certificate

as for optimal performance for the players you need to add a small change to the connction code for RTMPS. Players do work without it, however performance is signficantly better with it.

does that mean you have to shut down the server or what?

No, it means there is another application using port 80, perhaps a web server ( most common on port 80 ) but it could be something else.
