    Default Custom HTTPProvider for injecting cuepoints

    Hello,

    I am interested in using a custom HTTPProvider to inject cuepoints into a live stream. I am following the steps in the Wowza IDE 2 user guide - I create the Wowza Media Server HTTPProvider class and add the following to VHost.xml:

    <HTTPProvider>
    <BaseClass>com.wowza.wms.module.HTTPInjectCuepoint</BaseClass>
    <RequestFilters>*inject</RequestFilters>
    <AuthenticationMethod>none</AuthenticationMethod>
    </HTTPProvider>

    When I attempt to start the server, I get the following error:

    ERROR server comment - loadHTTPProvider: error parsing HTTPProvider properties: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.wowza.wms.module.HTTPInjectCuepoint
    java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.wowza.wms.module.HTTPInjectCuepoint

    I have seen other posts on this forum mention adding a jar file somewhere but the Wowza IDE 2 user guide says nothing about this. Any suggestions?

    in VHost.xml there are multiple ports therefore multiple <HTTPProviders> tags - had to add the custom <HTTPProvider> tag multiple times

    You only have to add any HTTPProvider to the /HostPort /Port that you want to use it with. Make sure it is 2nd to last in the list, as the last one is usually the catchall, anything below is never reached.
