I have a wowza server running in amazon. Everything works fine but now I need to add a new feature, I need to capture an image from the stream so I can show that image later on the player when the users want to playback the content... I need to capture the image a couple of seconds after of started the live broadcast...
I've been reading a lot in the wowza support forums and I have a good idea of what I need to do, but I want to be sure before starting the process... (and I'm sure this is going to be useful for someone else in the future)
1- Download and Install the module "ModuleCreateSnapshot" (from http://www.wowza.com/forums/content.php?113)
2- Add to Application.xml the new module.
Now is where I'm kind of lost with what I have to do...
Richard told in this post (http://www.wowza.com/forums/showthre...5630#post35630) to "IMediaStreamActionNotify interface, then use onPublish event handler to start a timer on the server", but where do I create that .java file?! Do I have to compile that fille and then upload it as a new module after adding the .jar to /lib?
I need some directions on how to go on from here... then I just have to call createSnapshotLive function from the timer right? What parameters do I have to use for that function?
Any help will be more than thanked!
