    Default Is publish.password secure?

    I'm afraid of leaving passwords in the "publish.password" for publishing authentication.
    How secure is this file?
    Isn't there a way to encrypt the passwords in that file?

    It is as secure as your server. There is not a way to encrypt, as far as I know.

    Here is a way to authenticate from a db or other source instead:
