    Default Start and stop live publish streams - module.

    Hi

    I am new to the Forum and Wowza, i have some skills in java. I want to write a module that reads a database table and get some stream names that should be shut down to clients.

    <Module>
    <Name>My module</Name>
    <Description>Start and stop live streams</Description>
    <Class>com.noctta.wms.module.Start_Stop_Live</Class>
    </Module>

    My problem is not the database part o java programming, only the Wowza part, how do i get the live streams list and how do i shutdown them in the proper way. I understand the are several ways to accomplish this but i want some expert advice, and maybe a script already doing this that i can use to modify.

    Streams comes from FMLE 3.2 - h.264, AAC - No transcoder.
    and it goes into flowplayer-3.2.15 . Using flowplayer.rtmp-3.2.11 plugin.

    Thank you for reading this.

    Best regards.

    Thanks for your reply

    I was looking for something 100% server side and not involving Action script, so that it can be used for all technology approaches (iOs, Andoird, RIM, Sylverlight). Is is possible to do it server-side only? and what happens to the clients already watching the stream before it was shut down by the server?

    Best Regards.
