    Default How to get the rtsp playback code for my Android. Please Help Me

    Hello everyone, I am a freshman with wowza media. I got my live video streaming kicking on the webpage, how ever I dont know how to get the code so I can put it behind an image
    so when some one clicks on it the video player on the phone kicks in. (playback on Android)
    This is my fms url rtmp://199.217.116.222:1935/live stream is:tvonline I was wondering if my playback url should be: rtsp://199.217.116.222:1935/tvonline for an Android cellphone.

    Can anyone please help me, going looney. Thanks.

    You have to include the stream name:

    rtsp://199.217.116.222:1935/tvonline/myStream

    Take a look at this approach for detecting:
    http://blog.ianbeyer.com/code/client...e-player-code/

    There are application server-side methods that are essentially the same and don't rely on javascript.

    UDP ports not being open is one common problem.

    Take a look at the RTSP trouble-shooting guide:
    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....P-RTP-playback

    Also, some Android devices don't work with MP3 audio. AAC is required.

    Is this the correct way to open all udp outgoing ports please????

    <ProcessorCount>4</ProcessorCount>
    <IpAddress>*</IpAddress>
    <!-- Separate multiple ports with commas -->
    <!-- 80: HTTP, RTMPT -->
    <!-- 554: RTSP -->
    <Port>0-65535</Port>

    Original Format
    <ProcessorCount>4</ProcessorCount>
    <IpAddress>*</IpAddress>
    <!-- Separate multiple ports with commas -->
    <!-- 80: HTTP, RTMPT -->
    <!-- 554: RTSP -->
    <Port>1935</Port>

    You have to open UDP ports in your firewall, and if behind a NAT or router they have to be mapped to the server running Wowza.

    And follow this guide:
    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....-RTP-streaming

    Nothing yet, open all UDP ports outbound from 0-65535 and nothing. Turned off firewall for a moment and still dont work. can the problem be on my vhost.xml carpet or file.
