    Question How To Disable the Passing of URL Variables?

    Greetings,

    We are trying to setup wowza HLS with a CDN which first uses a hash value to load the playlist.m3u8 then uses a cookie to keep the session verified.

    We are having a problem where the url variables passed in the original call to the playlist.m3u8 are being passed back in the chunklist.m3u8, this is causing a conflict with the cookie.

    Is there anyway to disable the passing of all variables except for the wowzasessionid?

    Example:

    Initial Call: http://cdn.server.com/vod/mp4:sample...alue2&c=value3

    What we get back: http://cdn.server.com/vod/mp4:sample...alue2&c=value3

    What we want to get back: http://cdn.server.com/vod/mp4:sample...nid=1118829010

    Thanks for your help!

    // Andrew

    Is there a corresponding Wowza ticket?
