    Default RTMPS not working....

    Hey guys

I have created my own keystore from my godaddy certificate (and installed the intermediate godaddy cert) and setup my vHost.xml file according to http://www.wowza.com/forums/content.php?454#install
and I can confirm that my server responds on the port correctly (via telnet) but I cannot get my flash client to connect via "rtmps://testServer:443/live", even with the client's netconnection proxyType set to "best".

However if I remove the SSL stuff from my vhosts.xml file, I can connect without SSL via "rtmp://www.reiltalk.com:443/live" on the same port.

Seems that I've messed up the keystore or something, but there are no errors in my wowza error log files, and my connection to the server does not fail with a message, it just sits there; my NetStatusEvent.NET_STATUS event listener is never hit.

I've checked my keystore with "keytool -list -v -keystore keystore.jks" and it looks ok to me.
I've also installed the mediaSecurity add on (Im using wowza media server 3.1.2) and installed the jar plugins as described here: http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....aSecurityAddOn

What else should I look at to identify the issue?

    Thanks in advance!!

Did you check the trouble-shooting steps in that article?

Thanks Rich, but yeah I'm not getting either of those errors.

I tried replacing my jks file with a self signed one, and things started working, so looks like I messed up the certificate chain in the jks creation. I'm currently working thru the godaddy docs to get it right. I'll post the solution if I can figure it out

    Happy NYE mate!

ok, finally got my jks in order.

Had to follow these commands to get it to work:
    http://www.jasonpearce.com/blog/2012...curity-server/

    This one did not work:

hmm looks like my post disappeared.... y2k13 bug?

anyhow, I was able to successfully build my jks by following these instructions:
    http://www.jasonpearce.com/blog/2012...curity-server/

The godaddy instructions did NOT work for me.
