    Default live stream to IPhone and html5

    How can you do a fall back to a html5 with a live stream.

    tried code below, but my Iphone never gets to the html5.

    script type='text/javascript' src='/jwplayer/jwplayer.js'></script>

    <div id='mediaplayer'></div>

    <script type="text/javascript">
    jwplayer('mediaplayer').setup({
    'id': 'playerID',
    'width': '480',
    'height': '270',
    'provider': 'rtmp',
    'streamer': 'rtmp://xx:1935/live/lq',
    'file': 'sintel.mp4',
    'image': 'http://example.com/thumbs/sintel.jpg',
    'modes': [
    {type: 'flash', src: '/jwplayer/player.swf'},
    {
    type: 'html5',
    config: {
    'file': 'http://xx:1935/live/lq/playlist.m3u8',
    'provider': 'video'
    }
    },
    {
    type: 'download',
    config: {
    'file': '/videos/sintel.mp4',
    'provider': 'video'
    }
    }
    ]
    });
    </script>

    For JW Player 6? Take a look at this example:

    Iphone works but windows doesn't. I'm doing a live feed, can you help me modify this line:

    file: "rtmp://[wowza-address]:1935/vod/mp4:sample.mp4"

    According to your first post it would be

    Server: rtmp://xx:1935/live
    Stream: lg

    Or in JW Player 6:
    file= rtmp://xx:1935/live/lq

    I got it to work, how can I also support android within the same script?

    <script type="text/javascript">
    jwplayer("myElement").setup({
    sources: [{
    file: "rtmp://[server]:80/live/camera.stream"
    },{
    file: "http://[server]/live/mystream.smil/playlist.m3u8"
    }
    ]

    });
    </script>

    JW player does not support RTSP as far as I know. Ethan said so last March and I haven't heard anything new since then

    You can check with longtailvideo for more info, they are very responsive on their forum. We recommend rtsp to Android. Cupertino streaming with HTML5 video tag on Android is supposed to be supported in some versions, but we have had mixed reports.
