Default Is it possible to disable RTMP playback (but preserve RTMP ingest) ?

    Hi

Wanting to push rtmp (with secureURL/iPublish) as ingest, but only keep HTTP outputs. Is it possible to prevent all RTMP access to unauthorized users ? In other terms, is it possible to enable the secureURL rtmp also on playback (not only publish) ?

    Cheers

    Hi
Take a look at this article, it explains how to do it and allow your encoder.

All you have to do is remove the "*" from the /conf/[app-name]/Application.xml /Clients /Access /StreamReadAccess settting, so it looks like this:

    <StreamReadAccess></StreamReadAccess>
Make sure you have "cupertinostreamingpacketizer" in the /Streams /LiveStreamPacketizers

(hotlinkdenial is for controlling which domain your swf can be served from.)
