    Hi
    Have you tuned the server?
    It may be overloaded if it's not been tuned to use the hardware available as the default it's set for a production environment.

    Whats in your StartupStreams.xml?
    Can you post the entire file?

    here is the cfg file.. located in /conf

    <Root>
    <StartupStreams>

    <!-- Add a StartupStream entry for each stream that is to be started at virtual host startup -->
    <!-- valid MediaCasterTypes are: rtp, rtp-record, shoutcast, shoutcast-record, liverepeater -->

    <!-- Here are several examples -->

    </StartupStream>

    All of the StartUpStreams are commented out. You have to remove the "<!--" from before and the "-->" from after the ones you want to run

    <Root>
    	<StartupStreams>

    		<StartupStream>
    			<Application>live/_definst_</Application>
    			<MediaCasterType>rtp</MediaCasterType>
    			<StreamName>camera.stream</StreamName>
    		</StartupStream>

    	</StartupStreams>
    </Root>

    For your production server, tuning is important
