Thread: tons of warnings "Over flush iteration limit"

    Default tons of warnings "Over flush iteration limit"

    Hi,

    I've just upgraded a server with the new 3.5.2 from 3.5.0 build2989.
    I've many streams on that server and they are all ok after the upgrade, but I've a video stream (it's a live stream) with a problem.
    On the server console I see tons of warning messages like this one:

    "WARN server ... LiveStreamPacketizerCupertino.handleHolder[XYZ/_definst_/livestream]: Over flush iteration limit."

    If I try to see the stream using an rtmp client and the stream is visible, but if I see the stream using an Ipad, it doesn't work.

    At the moment, to solve the problem, I've restored 3.5.0 wowza version.
    Could you help me about that error?

    thanks a lot

    Hi
    What KeyFrame rate are you using?
    Its recommended that you have a KeyFrame every 1-2 seconds.

    Have you changed the parameters for Cupertino packetazation?
    If you have you changed the Cupertino packetazation may want to set them back to the default and see if the issue remains, the defaults can be found here,
    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....tinostreaming)

    You could also try adding debug for audio packetization using this tutorial,
    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....-packetization

    Let us know if you have any success finding the issue.
    It's worth mentioning that you may have been suffering from the same problem in version 3.5.0 but Wowza wasn't reporting the issue.

    Hi Jason,

    customer is using 2 on keyframe rate.
    I've never set up the the parameters for Cupertino packetazation on the application.xml file.
    Actually I've no parameters in the xml, I suppose that wowza is using the default values if none are specified on the xml.

    Now I'm going to double check the parameters on the encoder, but you've to consider that the stream now is working on ios devices with server 3.5.0.
    Yesterday, with version 3.5.2, on the console there was a lot of warnings and the stream was not working on ios devices.

    I'll do some test trying the replicate the situation on a test server.

    im having the same problem. i had an older version on my linux machine, 3.1 and i tried to upgrade to 3.5.1 and i got this error. I tried doing a complete fresh install (from rpm after -e) and this is what im getting ...

    WARN server comment - LiveStreamPacketizerSanJose.handleHolder[restream/_definst_/rtmp.stream]: Over flush iteration limit.
    WARN server comment - LiveStreamPacketizerCupertino.handleHolder[restream/_definst_/rtmp.stream]: Over flush iteration limit.

    im doing a liverepeater which ill then start recording but ... it never appears in my live recordings list and i see lots and lots of the error above.

    Hi
    I've passed this to support so it will get some more eyes and hopefully you'll get this issue resolved soon.

    You're correct I completely missed that line
    If I try to see the stream using an rtmp client and the stream is visible, but if I see the stream using an Ipad, it doesn't work.
    Sorry about that.

    What kind of encoder is it ?

    FMLE ? Wirecast ? MPEGTS ? that will help us determine the issue more easily.

    The customer is using FMLE 3.2 (Windows).

    Here the parameters on the encoder:

    PROFILE: Baseline LEVEL 3.0
    Keyframe frequency: 2 seconds
    Frame rate: 25.00
    audio format: MP3 stereo 44.100 96kbps

    Try changing the MP3 bit rate to 128kbs. It should work then

    I updated from Wowza 3.5.0 to 3.5.2 and I have the same annoying problem.
    ...
    WARN server comment - LiveStreamPacketizerSanJose.handleHolder[xyzlive/_definst_/xyzlive]: Over flush iteration limit.
    WARN server comment - LiveStreamPacketizerCupertino.handleHolder[xyzlive/_definst_/xyzlive]: Over flush iteration limit.
    WARN server comment - LiveStreamPacketizerSanJose.handleHolder[xyzlive/_definst_/xyzlive]: Over flush iteration limit.
    ...

    The encoder is FMLE3.2 and the profile:

    Video:
    <format>H.264</format>
    <datarate>350;</datarate>
    <outputsize>598x336;</outputsize>
    <advanced>
    <profile>Main</profile>
    <level>3.1</level>
    <keyframe_frequency>5 Seconds</keyframe_frequency>
    </advanced>

    Audio:
    <audio>
    <format>AAC</format>
    <datarate>56</datarate>
    </audio>

    How can fix it???

    Hi
    If you change the profile to Baseline 3.0 can you play the on your iOS device?
    Some of the older Apple iOS devices only support Baseline 3.0.
