Default how to do HLS on browsers like mozilla FireFox

we are doing HLS using Wowza Media Server 3.5.0.We could able to stream videos on amino set top box using the URL: http://[wowza-ip-address]:1935/live/...laylist.m3u8.I am wondering if we can play this stream on mozilla FireFox on windows?Do we need to add any plugins to the browser?

    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi Prasanthi,

You may want to use JWPlayer made with Flash, check this Jeroen's interview.

Firefox will need Flash, and then you will need JW Player 6 Premium to deliver HLS in Flash. You can only skip Flash in the latest Safari and iOS devices -- they support HLS natively.

The more standard option is that once Firefox has Flash, you could just use a regular RTMP stream in any Flash player (free JW, Flowplayer, etc.).
