    Default How to disable EXT-X-ALLOW-CACHE tag?

    Hello,

    Is it possible to configure Wawza some way for remove "#EXT-X-ALLOW-CACHE:NO" from the m3u8 file?

    Thanks!

    Or simply replace #EXT-X-ALLOW-CACHE:NO with #EXT-X-ALLOW-CACHE:YES.

    I've just tried to add property dvrCupertinoPlaylistAllowCaching with "true" like this

    <DVR>
    	<!-- Properties for DVR -->
    	<Properties>
    		<Property>
    			<Name>httpRandomizeMediaName</Name>
    			<Value>true</Value>
    			<Type>Boolean</Type>
    		</Property>
    		<Property>
    			<Name>dvrCupertinoPlaylistAllowCaching</Name>
    			<Value>true</Value>
    			<Type>Boolean</Type>
    		</Property>
    	</Properties>
    </DVR>
    then I restarted Wawza, but tag "#EXT-X-ALLOW-CACHE:NO" is still arrive in m3u8 file...

    I'm not sure, will have to verify, but you might have to enable HTTP Origin mode for this to work:

    I think I was mistaken about the HTTP Origin configuration being required. This was added in build 1684. What version of Wowza are you using?

    Is the application configured for DVR ?

    The version is okay, but you do need to be configured for DVR for this to be useful.
