Default Adding sound to mute camera

    Hello,

We have few Ubiquiti AirCam cameras and one Dahua. All of them lack
Microphone connector. We would like to add some sound to them. I was
wondering if I can stream audio separately and then in Wowza mix
    those two streams into one?

Also would it be possible to put some kind of sound in loop if no
    audio stream provided?

If yes, do I need some kind of AddOn?

    Thanks!

    Hi
This is possible but involves you writing some custom code to do it.
I don't think there is any pre-built Modules for this at the moment.

I'd use ffmpeg to grab your camera feed, pair it with an audio feed, and send the two together to Wowza. Might be tough to get exact sync either way, but this would seem to be the simplest method.

Looping a file is possible too, using the "sox" command line tool before ffmpeg:

Wow. Thanks I didn't think of ffmpeg in first place and it seems like a very good idea. Thank you!
