Red face Wowza out of heap,

we are running Wowza Media Server 2.2.3
wowza runs out of heap randomly and when we change heap size in setenv.bat it wont start (no error in the log)
    set JAVA_OPTS="-Xmx768M"
    set JAVA_OPTS="-Xmx8000M"
    we have 16GB ram
an other thing at the startup we see
    Java Architecture: 32
but we have 64 windows 2008
please advise what we are doing wrong.

This is a 32bit machine, so you will not be able to run a 64bit Java JDK, and so you will not be able to utilize 8g of memory.

And your Wowza startup lines show only 4g ram:

    Hardware Physical Memory: 4095MB/4095MB
You should set heap size to about 2000 to 2500M

Review the tuning guide for more details:

Note that you can still upgrade to Wowza 3 for free if you have a Perpetual license, and you can always upgrade if you are using a Subscription license, and we recommend doing that.

we do not want to upgrade as we have some custom modules which do not work on the newer version.
    im attaching server info.
