Thread: IE9 viewers can't see H.264 live stream

Default IE9 viewers can't see H.264 live stream

    The subject says it all.

Recently we stopped using VP6 to stream Flash, and are now using H.264, as recommended by the Wowza support team.

IE9 users on Win XP/7 AND users on the Vista OS (sigh...I know, Vista???) just get a blank screen instead of video.

I am planning to upgrade soon, but still have live events that need support.

Is there any kind of workaround or separate video code I need to implement?

Which live encoder are you using? What are the video and audio encoding details? What client are you testing playback with? What do you see in the access log when the client you are testing plays the stream?
