i have installed a new Wowza server (3.5) , my requirement is connect some TV station in different place for play stream 24/7 in
H.264, 720x576, Interlaced, 25fps, 1,5Mbit/s, Main 3.1, AAC, 48Khz, 96Kbit/s .
so my pathe is : composite input > encoder > wowza > decoder > composite output > rf modulator
any channel have one incoming stream and 3 outuput stream .
as encoder i have try two solution pc-based: Telestream Wirecast and FMLE, as hardware solution have try Minicaster (RTMP)
for play stream i have try Streamit STB (HLS) and RTSP China player .
in my Wowza server i have 100Mbit/s line symmetric .
the system works, but sometimes the output of the set top box you can see the image of small hops, possibly due to loss of frames.
any advice would be appreciated on how to use this environment, for example, that encoder to use, what kind of protocol and what kind of player / STB to have good quality performance and stability.
also, on Wowza site, for this type of connection is best to use the type of stream 'live' or 'live-lowlatency'?
as encoder, is better use RTMP, RTP or other protocol ?
thanks for any advice,
