    Default wowza stream schedule

    Hello all. I have a question regarding scheduling on wowza.
    So i have a live stream (video + audio) and i want to schedule a mp4 file to play automatically on certain time over the stream and than resume the live stream.
    Something like dynamic stream switching.
    I tried using Stream Class streams http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....-class-streams but i have a problem.
    I start my live stream called Stream1 using adobe flash media encoder in live application. My smil file is like this:
    <smil>
        <head>
        </head>
        <body>

            <stream name="Stream1"></stream>
            <playlist name="pl1" playOnStream="Stream1" repeat="false" scheduled="2013-03-28 10:51:00">
                <video src="mp4:sample.mp4" start="5" length="-1"/>
            </playlist>

        </body>
    </smil>
    When the scheduled time comes for playing the mp4 it doesn't make the switch. If i don't stream using adobe and i access the stream "Stream1" the video plays when it's scheduled.
    Is there any way i can make the live stream stop, play the scheduled file and then return to the live stream?
    Thanks!

    You can do this with this configuration file by using several playlist items that all play on the same stream.

    <smil>
        <head>
        </head>
        <body>

            <stream name="Stream1"></stream>
            <playlist name="pl1" playOnStream="Stream1" repeat="true" scheduled="2013-03-30 6:26:00">
                <video src="mp4:sample.mp4" start="0" length="-1"/>
            </playlist>
           <playlist name="pl2" playOnStream="Stream1" repeat="true" scheduled="2013-03-30 6:26:15">
                <video src="myStream" start="-2" length="-1"/>
            </playlist>
           <playlist name="pl3" playOnStream="Stream1" repeat="true" scheduled="2013-03-30 6:26:30">
                <video src="mp4:sample.mp4" start="0" length="-1"/>
            </playlist>
           <playlist name="pl4" playOnStream="Stream1" repeat="false" scheduled="2013-03-30 6:26:45">
                <video src="myStream" start="-2" length="-1"/>
            </playlist>

        </body>
    </smil>

    i tried but when the scheduled time comes it stops Stream1:

    INFO server comment - ServerListenerStreamPublisher: closing stream: Stream1
    INFO server comment - ServerListenerStreamPublisher Scheduled stream is now live
    : Stream1
    INFO server comment - ServerListenerStreamPublisher: closing stream: Stream1
    INFO server comment - ServerListenerStreamPublisher: closing stream: Stream1
    INFO server comment - ServerListenerStreamPublisher Scheduled stream is now live
    : Stream1
    INFO stream stop Stream1 -
    INFO stream unpublish Stream1 -

    Still i don't fully understand if using stream class scheduler, i can make a schedule over a live stream without having to put the live stream in the smil file.

    I updated my previous post. The main problem was the each playlist's repeat attribute was set to "false". They should all be true except the last one. There was wrong start value for one of the live stream playlists also. It works as shown now
