    Post Iphone to Wowza in HTTP [HELP]

    Hello Guys,
    I have a live-record application that i need to receive a video from an iphone application using http, generated an h264 is it possible to send this stream to wowza and get rtmp and http downstream from it ?

    Note:we have tried using the ffmpeg inside the iphone app but it didn't work.

    No, sorry, Wowza does not support HTTP ingest. It has to be RTMP live stream, or RTP/RTSP or MPEG-TS stream.

    You can produce an MPEG-TS stream with FFmpeg:

    Thank you Richard for your reply.

    I am sorry but management insists on Iphone being an available source for live Streams.

    In the case of Livu that uses FFmpeg which is licensed under a GPL license we are afraid our app would be rejected from the market so the option of using FFmpeg libraries inside our Iphone application like the case of livu has been discarded.

    The second option of using FFmpeg as an adapter between the two entities is being considered and any help in this matter is highly appreciated, I will try to keep you updated on this issue.
