    Default iPad VOD streaming from WOWZA issue

    Hi,

    I have WOWZA 2.2.4 streaming server and I am trying to do rtmp and http streaming. I am using JWPlayer 6. Here is my code.

    The below one works fine on iPad and computer browsers
    'sources': [
    { 'file': 'rtmp://servername.com/appfolder/mp4:video.mp4'},
    { 'file': 'http://servername.com:1935/appfolder/mp4:video.mp4/playlist.m3u8'}
    ],

    Once I move the video file from application root folder to subfolder, it is not working on iPad. It is working fine with the browser though

    'sources': [
    { 'file': 'rtmp://servername.com/appfolder/mp4:folder/video.mp4'},
    { 'file': 'http://servername.com:1935/appfolder/mp4:folder/video.mp4/playlist.m3u8'}
    ],

    I tried with the following code and it is not working on iPad

    'sources': [
    { 'file': 'rtmp://servername.com/appfolder/mp4:folder/video.mp4'},
    { 'file': 'http://servername.com:1935/appfolder/folder/video.mp4/playlist.m3u8'}
    ],

    Please help me to resolve this. Do I need to change anything in Application xml file in order to work?

    Thanks,
    Mahesh

    I have working solution. For subfolders the following code is working

    'sources': [
    { 'file': 'rtmp://streamingserver.com/appfolder/_definst_/mp4:subfolder/videofile.mp4'},
    { 'file': 'http://streamingserver.com:1935/appfolder/_definst_/mp4:subfolder/videofile.mp4/playlist.m3u8'}
    ]

    I found from WOWZA site. The url is http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....mand-streaming

    browse halfway through page and look for "Playback of content outside of the content root"

    Is it the rightway to do?
