Default Cannot shut down application from JConsole / JMX

    hi!

I have a running wowza instance with an application and a single application instance that is streaming 3 simultaneous streams.
I am monitoring my server using JConsole. My problem is that I cannot stop the show from the JConsole MBean tree.

I tried so far invoking shutdown(true, true) on

    WowzaMediaServerPro:vHosts=VHosts,vHostName=_defaultVHost_,applications=Applications,applicationName =intra,applicationInstances=ApplicationInstances,applicationInstanceName=_definst_,name=ApplicationI nstance

and also on the application itself (not the instance). However in both cases the show did not stop for the connected JWPlayer clients.

Can you help me how to correctly stop all the streams in a specific application or application instance (I have only one so it doesn't make difference)

    Regards,
    b

    Default

I think you need TCP port 8083 open to shutdown the server remotely. Check that.
