Default StreamLock Integration with existing SSL

    Hi,

We want to implement the rtmps service to our servers but we already have an ev ssl from godaddy which has cost us a lot of money.

Is there a way for wowza to hook up to this ssl?

I have tried to point to the existing certificates on our server in VHosts.xml but get the following error message:

warn vhost comment _defaultvhost_ bind failed, try again ([any]:443): java.net.bindexception: address already in use

Can you please advice how to proceed?

    Hussan,

You probably have a web server on that machine binding to port 443. If possible, you can assigned different IP address to your web server and Wowza, or use an alternate port in one

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for this, I have changed the port for wowza ssl to 8443. It now starts wowza but from the videochat example, I cannot connect to rtmps. It says connection failed, however when I try to use normal rtmp it connects.

Can you please advice how to proceed

I think you have to specify the port you are going to use when you provision the certificate.
