1st off - I'm just getting by with media streaming, not a nubie, but certainly not an expert...
Our application records via a Flash connection in an Air program. The content may be live-reviewed or post reviewed at high-speed. We would also like to transcode content for post-review using H.264/AAC playback for some clients and can live without hi-speed/fast forward for them.
We originally tried to record with H.264 and used the transcoder to convert the audio, but that appears to break fast forward, so we're going back to the default FLV format with SPEEX for audio - VP6 appears to be unavailable for recording.
Is there a prescription for this that doesn't include ffmpeg?
