Configuring multiple VHosts is covered in the user guide. But consider avoiding that if possible, because it makes tuning a little complicated. You can usually accomplish whatever separation of function or customers with many applications in one VHost.

Does wowza charge license fee for each VHosts like in using multiple instances?

    Unhappy Cannot startup virtual host

Other thing i have setup 1 virtual machine newVHost under [install-dir]/ directory other than default vHost. I also mentioned it in configuration file VHosts.xml under [install-dir]/conf directory.
I am not able to start the newVHost and default Vhost simultaneously. Is there any thing i am missing or is it that we can not start two vHost simultaneously.

I am using wowza 4.0.0 in my centOs virtual machine.

    Thank you in advance.

Wowza is licensed per instance, and each instance can have many VHosts defined.

A VHost is not loaded unless there is activity in one of its applications.

Multiple VHosts configuration can make tuning a bit more difficult and is often not necessary. Many applications are usual enough to separate functionality for most use cases. Make sure you have a good reason to make multiple VHosts and consider separating by applications under one or as few VHosts as possible.
