Default TS h.264 5mbps multicast stream in to wowza and needs to be rtmp 500k multicast out

    Hello wowza people
Im not sure if this is possible.

I have a h.264 multicast TS stream at 5mbps delivered to my wowza server.
I need to serve up an rtmp rtp multicast stream at a lower bitrate.
    Is this possible?

The front end to all of this is a Cisco show and share server
Unfortunately they cant serve up a straight up udp TS multicast stream

It looks like it needs to direct their player via rtmp or rtsp

    (rtmp://servername/application/codecID:streamname.extension), choose FLV 16:9, FLV 4:3, or MPEG-4 H.264 16:9.

    (rtsp://servername/filename.sdp or http://servername/filename.sdp), choose MPEG-4 H.264 4:3.

Ive read about a multicast publish add on, is that needed for this application
We already have 2 transcoding add-on licenses on this server already

    Cheers

    Hi Barry,

Sorry we had previously missed this one. I'm going to move this conversation into a support ticket.
