Default Alaw(wav) rtp input into wowza convert and restream as http

    Hi Everyone.

I have an A-LAW RTP Stream coming into the server on port 9003. How do I grab this stream from the capture NIC device? I can't grab it from the pushing source because the pushing source is not a server, but a dedicated push service to our servers on a certain port.
After grabbing it , we need to convert it to MP3, and then restream it as HTTP. HOWEVER, the capturing the stream and restreaming it would be good for now as conversion is not difficult.

    Please help on

    2:restreaming

    Hi,
Wowza doesn't support wav, you may be able to send the stream to FFmpeg first and then convert and stream through Wowza.
I'm not sure on your setup you may be able to push directly to FFmpeg and then from FFmpeg send directly to an application configured to transcode and/or packetize the stream for HTTP clients.
