    Default Protect live streaming

    been bouncing around and cant figure out how to protect live streams, tried adding <allowdomains> and wont work, it actually keep me from broadcasting. Whats the current way of protecting streams, searching shows 2010, is that the same as now>?

    ok I checked out the streamlock and got that started. I am trying to set it up with flowplayer but not working. I am getting Clip:myStream not found: here is script

    <script type="text/javascript">
    flowplayer("player", "../flowplayer-3.2.16.swf",
    {
    clip: {
    url: 'myStream',
    live: true,
    provider: 'rtmp'
    },
    plugins: {
    rtmp: {
    url: '../flowplayer.rtmp-3.2.12.swf',
    proxyType: 'best',
    netConnectionUrl: 'rtmps://[hostname]:9443/live'
    }
    }
    }
    );
    </script>

    using FME to send stream to server, using

    rtmp://123.456.789.1/live
    stream: myStream

    what am I missing?

    Hi,
    Stream not found indicates that the player is not pointing to the same application name and stream name that's being published by your live encoder.
    The application and stream name are case sensitive, I imagine this is a typo.

    I double checked that also, and both the same name. what else? incidentally i am going live in an hour and want to get it fixed by then if not have to resort to going back to regular streaming

    Does it work with rtmp?

    Do you have a /conf/VHost.xml /HostPort with /Port that includes "9443"?

    Does playback using rtmp in Flowplayer work?

    Is port 9443 open in your firewall and mapped in your network if necessary. From the computer you are testing playback with Flowplayer, what do you see in a browser at this url:

    http://[wowza-address]:9443

    You should see Wowza version and build displayed in the browser. If not, there is a problem with that port (or Wowza is not running).

    And what do you see in the Wowza access log after you try to connect with RTMPS? Look for x-event "connect-pending", usually followed by "connect".

    I opened the port, it wasnt in inbound or outbound, so added and retarted the whole enchilada, but still no luck, I do have wowza running, and refreshing the browser example for flowplayer, says stream not found, the http://[wowza-address]:9443 shows nothing
