    Default : in file path?

Ran across some files that have : in their file paths, which are not playing back (in 3.5.2). Looking through logs, I'm seeing a message alone the lines of:

WARN server comment foo::bar.mp4 MediaReaderH264.open[1] java.io.FileNotFoundException: foo__bar.mp4 (No such file or directory)

From that message, it seems like the file reader might be trying to replace ':' with '_'. Since, in the case, ':' is a valid character in a file path, nothing is found.

If this is the case, is it possible to stop the substitution from happening, or do I need to sanitize the file paths to rid them of ':' ?

    Thanks,
    Karl

    Hi,

You need to get rid of the : in the filenames. The : is used as a modifier within Wowza.
