we need to push a stream to a wowza repeater and we would like to test using VLC. The computer/VLC will be located behind nat, with a lcoal IP address not accessible from the internet. Can you please point me to the proper forum link for this configuration?

    Hi Salvadore,
unfortunately i dont have access to the router to forward the ports. There is no way for me to access the VLC encoder from the Wowza edge server. I can only access the Wowza edge server from the VLC, and this is why I need to push the stream from VLC instead of pulling from Wowza.
    Is this possible ?

I'm not sure, but I don't think VLC does RTMP push. FFmpeg does RTMP out.
