Default RTMP Live Record Bandwidth Adjusting

I looked over the whole BWChecker I'm not sure that could help me.

I am recording from 4g and Wifi and the bandwidth seems to change often. When I make the camera quality high the video is choppy. When I make the quality low the faces look pixelated.

Are there any methods to adjust the camera quality according to the bandwidth available? (especially using 4g)

I don't think there are with a Flash application as the publisher. There is on the playback side: play2() command and NetStreamInfo. You should still be able to use NetStreamInfo class ( to provide feedback at least and maybe change encoding quality and stop and start a stream, but I don't know of any seamless switching for publishing.
