    Default Wowza IDE2 determine stream format type

    I am trying to determine the video and audio codec on unpublish. Is there anyway to get the stream format with the wowza ide 2. I see addVideoH264SEIListener?

    Help please. I want to know so I can tell ffmpeg which type of file it is encoding (h264 or spark).

    unless there is a way to get iphones to publish h264 encode. My iphone doesnt seem to do h264.

    Please help!!

    You can use IMediaStreamActionNotify3.onCodecInfoAudio() and IMediaStreamActionNotify3.onCodecInfoVideo(), then use WMSProperties to add that info to the stream and get it in IMediaStreamActionNotify3.onUnPublish()

    awesome and since the iphone doesnt encode to h264 how can I still do all of the capabilities like live streaming and stuff. Doesnt the transcoder need h264 video?

    Tell me if I'm correct. codecInfoVideo will only show a codec when there is one right? I noticed when publishing as spark it never showed anything. but when I want using h264 it was giving data every second.

    Also codecInfoVideo.toCodecsStr()
    was returning avc1.66.31

    will h264 always return that code?

    Spark should show up too.

    "avc1.66.31" is H.264 (avc1), Baseline Profile (66), Level 3.1 (31)

    Take a look at the adding codec info article for reference.
