Thread: Remote Share Object from client side?

Default Remote Share Object with client side code only?

From the user manual you get the impression that it is possible to create Remote Shared Objects by using client side code only. This seems little counterintuitive to me. Is this really possible or is there a chunk of necessary server side Java missing in the User manual? Are there any essential differences between the client side created RSO:s and server side created ones?

Adding to Richard's answer, It is possible to create Remote Shared Objects entirely on the client side. When doing this, the server will just pass the RSO to the clients that are subscribed to it.

The example that Richard has linked shows how to create a RSO on the server and then have clients subscribe to it.
