    Default http flashplayer streaming disconnect not sending a disconnect to wowza

    when a connect is clicked on the flash http player VOD example and later clicking on the disconnect following are the wowza console logs .

    INFO stream create sample.mp4 -
    INFO stream play sample.mp4 - <play clicked>
    INFO stream seek sample.mp4 - <disconnect clicked>
    <some time gap>
    INFO stream stop sample.mp4 -
    INFO stream destroy sample.mp4 -
    INFO sanjose disconnect 432681717 -

    The stop or disconnect happens after a long time. Is there any url that can be invoked from the flash/actionscript code to wowza to initiate disconnect?
    Please let me know any solution for this at the earliest.

    Thanks & regards,

    Default

    I believe the amount of time between disconnect from the player to Wowza disconnecting is effected by the chunk duration.

    By default Wowza is set to use 3, 10 second chunks per segment. So you are seeing a lag of about 30 seconds from the time you disconnect the player to the time Wowza discounts (if using the default settings).
