Default OutOfMemoryError For More Than Two Output Streams

I'm hitting an OutOfMemory error after transrating one channel into more than two streams and Wowza has 8 GB of memory to work with. Is there a way for me to compute how much memory Wowza expects? I want to know whether I should tune the channel input or the output qualities.

    Hi,
Have you tuned the server to use all the hardware you have available?,
When Wowza starts, in the log you will see how many processors Wowza is reporting and how much memory is available. (search for "Java" in the access.log file)

You will then need to edit the [Wowza-Install]/conf/VHost.xml and [Wowza-Install]/bin/setenv (.sh or .bat depending on operating system)
Please make sure Wowza is tuned by editing the above files using the tuning guide for reference.

The tuning guide can be found here,
    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....ormance-tuning

After editing these files you will need to restart Wowza for these changes to take effect.
Please post the start-up section of the access.log after restarting Wowza so I can check this for you.

Yes, we've already performed the tweaks advised by the guide.

The problem is you have set your Java heap size to 5g (-Xmx 5g) which is higher than your available memory. There is 8g of ram on that machine, but barely 3g is available
    Hardware Physical Memory: 3710MB/7859MB
3710MB is available. So this is probably not a dedicated Wowza server, there are other applications running using much ram.
